Philip Jacques appears in his sixteenth Placer Community Theather play with his portrayal of Dr. Lyman in Bus Stop.  Formerly Vice President of PCT, he also performs for other community theaters and on film for HBO and the Discovery channel.  Highlights from his PCT career include Ladislav Sipos in She Loves Me, Jacob and Pharaoh in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Frank Hart in 9 to 5 The Musical, Tito Merelli in Lend Me a Tenor, Big Jule in Guys and Dolls and Andrew Ladd in Love Letters. Philip received a SARTA Elly Nomination for Best Actor in his performance as Lenny Gantz in Rumors and an Outstanding Achievement Award as Big Daddy in Cat on a Hot Tin Roof. His most recent appearance was in December 2021 as Bob Cratchit in Scrooge for LeGacy Productions, Nevada City. 

Mr. Jacques currently manages Auburn Community Television. His interests are photography and videography, and he also leads a memoir writing group for Gold Country Writers.
