Community theaters from all across the Sacramento region gathered on September 23, 2012 to celebrate the best in theater at the 30th annual Elly awards, presented by the Sacramento Area Regional Theatre Alliance (SARTA). Placer Community Theater achieved seven nominations, six for Neil Simon’s “Rumors” and one for “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.” Lyra Dominguez won Best Leading Actress in a Musical for her portrayal of the Narrator in “Joseph.” It was her second Elly nomination and first win. PCT is proud to have had its productions and its talented actors and stage technicians recognized in this way!
