Jeremy Calandri

As a boy growing up in the Bay Area, Jeremy was very active with the San Francisco American Conservatory Theater, where his family were regular season ticket holders. His involvement in local theater grew over the years resulting in him playing the lead in the school musical “Teen” at age 12. During that time he was attending productions at the community theater in Hayward taking notes and learning the craft. While a student at Sunset High School in Hayward, Jeremy’s passion for theater continued to grow as he became very involved in the Sunset Theater Arts Repertory Society. There he furthered his craft both on and backstage.

Jeremy was also a member of San Francisco’s American Conservatory Theater’s Youth Conservatory Program. Jeremy is a highly successful leader  where he is focused on the career growth of those he coaches as the Sr. HR leader, covering 19 locations and over 500 employees across all of  Northern California and Reno, for the world’s largest furniture manufacturer. He has helped shape the career growth of countless employees as he drives career development programs across the company. Being a people person is central to who Jeremy is as a leader and a contributor to his passion, the theater.

At Placer Community Theater, Jeremy is currently the President and one of many contributors to the direction and growth of the organization. He has played roles in productions and works tirelessly behind the scenes to help the company grow. Jeremy invites and welcomes you to become a member of PCT and help build a strong future for this important local non-profit organization of the arts.
