Del Dozier hails from Los Angeles, where she performed for over 15 years as a TV/Film, voiceover, and stage actress. Her favorite theatrical role was as Catherine, a schizophrenic, in Standing on My Knees, a play in which she both starred and produced. Since moving to Auburn five years ago, Del first appeared as Myra Bruhl in Deathtrap and then as Melissa Gardner in Love Letters, both with Placer Community Theatre. Since then, she’s performed as Chelsea Thayer in On Golden Pond, Eliza Doolittle in the radio version of Mayfair Lady, and Mrs. Cratchit in Rodger Hoopman’s musical adaptation of Scrooge. When she’s not on stage, Del spends most of her time writing and editing her upcoming memoir.
